Beautiful Mid 19th Century Violin. This instrument has an amazing Flamed Back and side!

This is an excellent, handmade, fully set up and playable violin, beautiful amber Toned Varnish finish with excellent flames on the back to show its workmanship. This is a lovely bodied and stunning instrument, full of character and very visually stunning as seen by the Flames on the front and back! Made in France probably as marked 1853 in Mirecourt France. (may move in transport so bear that in mind). There are no open cracks or splits as seen in pictures. Lots of age related marks, has had previous repairs done to the front of the body, all seem sound and secure (cleated from inside). Beautiful and very visually stunning flamed back and sides! There is a label inside, handwritten.

It has a brilliant sound, warm, sweet and melodic tone and well-balanced across the strings. Fully playable, ready for another pair of loving hands.
