Strombaugh Old Violin Lima Ohio 1867. A true Acoustic / Electric violin.

I've called her Blondie for almost 20 years. Played many gigs, recorded many tracks together.. Original varnish, in great shape for her age The neck on this violin feels awesome. Way different than a standard Stradivarius, nice and fat, solid. Smooth, I've really enjoyed this fiddle...

I acquired Blondie in 2005. Works great with the LRBaggs Voiceprint DI.

No bow included Case included w/ broken zipper pocket see photos... The pegs are gear tuners, Almost like guitar tuners, real easy to turn and easy to tune.. The back of the scroll, has a textured feature the luthier put his style on display. It's pretty cool, also feels soothing to the touch... The wood, the varnish, the neck, the build, all of exceptional craftsmanship....

Still beautiful in my eyes and she plays and sounds amazing... Label inside looks authentic totally refurbished In 2005 by Jennings Chestnut.
