Model Doff RG (Doff Russian Guitar). Model Doff RG - Russian seven-string guitar. Frankly speaking, we spent a lot of time to revive undeservedly forgotten Russian seven-string guitar. Going back to 2010 and seeing what kinds of seven-string guitars were presented in music stores, we were surprised to find out the Asian versions of seven-string guitar, where the seventh string was just added to the six strings, or very expensive professional instruments.

In that moment we decided to return the original seven-string guitar with a body conscience silhouette, elegant tripod, typical layout of strings and of course the bolt-on neck (as in original instrument). The most interesting thing is that concurrently with the appearance of our guitars there was an increase of interest to seven-string guitars, to the ancient Russian romances, to the genuine Russian tones, and we hope theres our merit as well. Russian Guitar body size (length 490mm/, top width 280mm/, bottom width 370mm/, thickness 95mm/, dome-shaped bottom deck).

Rosette: Cut-in wooden, made from different wood species, sound hole diameter 85mm/3. Neck: Maple, attachment to the body at the 12th fret; bolt-on neck fixation to body.

Amount of frets 20 (albata). Neck width at the nut: 50mm/1. Body deck and body sides cover Mat lacquer.

Face deck cover Mat lacquer. Fretboard and bridge material: Rosewood. Packaging arrangement: Guitar is completed with original box. The color of the lacquer and wood texture may differ slightly from that shown in the photographs. The guitar has a natural wood color.
