The instrument is in ready to play condition with some old professional repairs, grafted scroll, new rosewood set up and superieur despiau bridge. The violin has an excellent irregular grained spruce of the top and two pieces back of beautiful flamed maple. The whole length of the violin is 587 mm and the back 352 mm. The sound of this instrument is of a charming character, rich and beautiful colors, depth and great carrying power.
