Kanilea makes a different Platinum ukulele every year and it's limited and only made that year. The first one was made in 2015. This is the 2nd year for this Platinum ukulele and there is one coming for 2017. So for all you collectors, this is a spectacular one for your collection.

This 2016 Platinum model is very rare because its made with this beautiful Rare Premium Curly Koa wood. This ukulele has White sap on front and back of ukulele, has beautiful color features of orange, spectacular colors in this wood. The features of this wood is spectacular in person.

T he position dots on top and side of fret board is pearl. The Kanilea logo on headplate is Pearl. A mahogany neck and Kanile'a's own unique rounded back.
