Very interesting and unique Finnish violin made 1939 by maker Yrjo Halonen, 1939 with original authentic label inside on back(see photo), as well as original signature on inside top block. And what makes it very special - it was made in Wiipuri (Vyborg), which is old Finnish city, which was occupied by Soviets (Russia) at 1940 and still being occupied by Russia. In a very good state of preservation for its age, mostly signs of professional use. This violin has a clear & good tone, with good resonance. It has good projection & a fast response time.It features a very well-balanced sound between the high & low registers. This instrument would be suitable for professional players as well as for young emerging soloists.
Good player, easy to hold, very responding, made for player. LOB - 35.5cm, good for players with slightly smaller hands. New setup and new strings, fully ready to play, no further investments by luthier needed.
We recently tested it in a big Symphony Hall and of course it was able to fill that room easily. This item is in the category "Musical Instruments & Gear\String\Orchestral\Violins". The seller is "kalku24" and is located in this country: LV.
