The making follow strict traditional way of making sanjo kayagum. The whole wood piece is carved out from paulownia body with detail craftmanship and elegant decoration.
The backboard piece is also made of Korean paulownia wood. The strings are made of silk. The strings are strung tight and ready for set up.
